Wall-Mounted Zone Controllers
The Zone Controllers offer extended utility to the DriveRack® and ZonePRO™ families. The nine Zone Controllers use analog DC voltage to provide logic control ranging from zone source selection, volume and muting, to program or scene selection and fire safety muting. Wired with readily available and affordable CAT5 cable with universally accepted rj-45 connectors at distances up to 1000 ft, the ZC Zone Controllers offer simple yet elegant solutions to the contractor.

The ZC-1 provides programmable remote volume control for the DriveRack 260, 220i and the ZonePro 640 and 641. The ZC-2 offers programmable volume and mute control for the DriveRack 220i, 260 and the ZonePro 640 and 641. The ZC-3 can function as a program selector for the DriveRack 260 and 220i; in addition it can be used for as a source selector, page steering control, or a scene selector for the ZonePro products. The ZC-4 provides program change capability from contact closures for the DriveRack 220i and 260; it can also provide source selection, page steering, or scene selection for the ZonePro 640 and 641. The ZC-6 is a programmable volume control for the ZonePro 640 and 641. The ZC-7 is a programmable push -to-talk page assignment controller for the ZonePro devices. The ZC-8 provides both programmable source selection and volume control to the ZonePro 640 and 641. The ZC-BOB allows “home run” or parallel wiring to the DriveRack and ZonePro devices. The ZC-FIRE is a dedicated fire safety interface for the ZonePro products that allows selection of either system mute or scene selection upon being triggered by either a relay or control voltage from the fire safety system.

Stereo 2/3 Way, Mono 4-Way Crossover
Let's take a look at the construction features of the dbx® 234XL. At first glance you'll notice the units are great looking, and as you turn the controls something else becomes apparent; these units are extremely well built. The controls exude great precision, and the feel is a solid "click". Also, when you open the box, you won't find the external power supply that accompanies most processors in this price range.

That's because we know how difficult external powersupplies can be to work with and even though it costs a little more we put the high quality power supply right in the unit. All the inputs and outputs are XLR balanced jacks that are bolted down to the chassis. This "nutting down" of the jacks insures that even if someone steps on a cable plugged into the unit, it's not going to tear up the circuit board inside. All dbx® crossovers feature Linkwitz-Riley 24 dB per octave filters, the professional standard, but then again, what did you expect?

Advanced Feedback Suppression® Processor
The AFS 224 Advanced Feedback Suppression processor was designed to provide state-of-the art feedback elimination processing, while maintaining a simple and intuitive control interface. From the powerful DSP module to the no-nonsense user interface, the AFS 224 provides all the processing and control necessary for both installation and live use. The AFS 224 is an absolute must for any live sound application.

Ten and twelve filter feedback elimination processors have become the de facto standard, but the engineering staff at dbx have never been quite content residing in the neighborhood of the status quo. So, to raise the bar once again, they went out and developed a dedicated feedback suppression processor that offers up to 24 filters per channel with filter Qs up to 1/80 of an octave. To achieve these staggering numbers dbx utilized their patent-pending AFS technology that had previously only been available in the upper echelon line of products and made it available in this stand-alone processor, which takes all of the guesswork out of feedback removal. In addition to the plethora of feedback suppression filters available, the AFS 224 also offers selectable modes, live filter lift, and types of filtration, which are all readily available via the intuitive user interface front panel.
